Premier opened its doors in 1996. We have grown to be one of the biggest martial arts & self defence academies in the country with over 2,000 students. Premier BJJ have full time academies in Harrow, Ruislip & Newton Abbot, we have a unique blend of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Catch Wrestling
Premier teaches authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, our head coach Chris Foran has 42 years experience in martial arts and continues to train directly with Roger Gracie and his father Mauricio. Our Instructor team are full time professionals overseen by head Coach Chris Foran a 2nd Degree Black Belt, we have Catch Wrestlers certified under the legendary Billy Robinson and professional MMA fighters, this gives Premier members so much more than the average Jiu Jitsu club.
Premier head coach Chris Foran (above right) has been involved in elite martial arts since 1981 and has great contacts in the martial arts and grappling world, we have many guest instructors at the Harrow academy, including: The greatest BJJ competitor of all time Roger Gracie (above left), Dean Lister, Josh Barnett, Ricardo De La Riva, Craig Jones, Claudia Doval and 8th degree Coral belt Mauricio Gomes.
Unlike most large clubs, Premier instructors pride themselves on getting to know all our members by name, we get to know their strengths and weaknesses. We have classes seven days a week at our full time, fully equipped academies. Premier have separate beginner, advanced & mixed level classes.
Jiu Jitsu was devised as a self defence system, at Premier BJJ we will make sure you’re street ready in the shortest time possible, however for those students that like to compete, we have a proven track record of success in many competition formats.
